Co-Working experience

co-working in Marrakech
a journey of growth!

I'll try to share my feelings after one of the best personal growth experiences I have ever had, I am talking about the amazing two weeks of co-working in Marrakech with an amazing group of people that I can now feel like calling friends.

It has been a blast. Two amazing weeks living in the city center of Marrakech with professionals from all over the world: Germany, India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Italy. An amazing cultural experience combined with working and enjoying connections with like-minded people and an amazing destination.

Starting with the destination itself, Marrakech is a vibrant and bustling city, known for its colorful markets, delicious food, and rich culture. Living in the heart of Marrakech's city center, we were able to immerse ourselves in the local culture and experience the daily life of this fascinating city. From waking up to the call to prayer each morning to wandering through the souks and trying new foods, every day was an adventure

And with a group of like-minded people, we were able to share these experiences and learn from each other along the way.
The Riad we lived in is located in the heart of the Medina and was composed of four bedrooms and five bathrooms, a little pool in the patio/living room, and amazing colors and paints that gave it a truly unique and traditional feel. It truly felt like we were living in a piece of Moroccan history, and it was a perfect place to immerse ourselves in the local culture and way of life.

Speaking of our accommodation, I also have to say thanks from the bottom of my heart to Mohammed and Siham, the housekeepers. From cooking delicious traditional meals to cleaning the Riad and attending to any last-minute needs we had, they truly made us feel at home. always smiling, friendly, and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience.

The Riad was the perfect combination of comfort, culture, and hospitality, and Mohammed and Siham truly made us feel like we were part of their family. We would highly recommend the Riad to anyone looking for an authentic Moroccan experience in the heart of Marrakech.

During our two amazing weeks living and co-working in Marrakech, we had the opportunity to visit some incredible sites that truly made the experience unforgettable. From the bustling Jemaa el Fna square to the Jardin Majorelle and the peaceful coastal town of Essaouira, each place we visited had its own unique charm and beauty.

One of the first places we visited was the world-famous Jemaa el-Fna, the main square in Marrakech's old city. This vibrant and lively square is a hub of activity, with street performers, musicians, food stalls, and vendors selling all kinds of goods. We spent hours wandering around the square, living their vibes, and trying some delicious local food. While once the sun is down, the square transforms into an even more magical place, thanks to the sound of music and the smell of spices filling the air.
One of the most memorable experiences of our trip was spending a night in the desert. We traveled by van to the edge of the Sahara desert, where we met our guides and climbed onto camels for a sunset ride into the dunes. We spent the night in a traditional Berber camp, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner under the stars and listened to traditional music around the campfire. It was a truly magical experience, one that we will never forget.
we had a lot of workshops and activities together, it wasn't all just fun and games - we were also there to work. As remote workers, we all had our laptops and assignments to complete, but we were able to do so in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Even though the nights at home were amazing, we also participated in workshops that were designed to help us grow both personally and professionally. These workshops covered topics such as mindfulness, communication skills, and even entrepreneurship, allowing us to learn new skills and gain valuable insights that we could take back to our respective lives.
Focus on some fitness fun in the morning, such as running around the medina or doing yoga and meditation on the terrace.

Last but not least, I must spend some words talking about the amazing people I had the privilege to spend these two weeks with, the main reason why i will never forget these two weeks, the incredible group of remote workers I had the pleasure of sharing the experience with.

Our group of eight amazing, like-minded people was so varied and unique. Everyone with different jobs, skills, and experiences. Among the many things that impressed me from our group, I got very inspired by one of our Tripmates’ projects. He’s running a Charity providing education for underprivileged children in India and planting trees, while another one is building a hospital in his home country of Pakistan, Having people like these around was for sure inspiring for all of us. It was amazing to see how they were using their skills and passion to make a real difference in the world.
Throughout our two weeks together, we had plenty of opportunities to connect, share ideas, and learn from each other. It is amazing to see how much we all grew in just two weeks, both personally and professionally.

Overall, our two weeks in Marrakech with this amazing group has been an unforgettable experience. We learned, grew, and connected with each other in ways that we never thought possible, and we left with a new perspective on the world and our place in it. We will for sure stay in touch and continue to support each other's personal and professional journeys.
regarding my personal thoughts I have to say that the combination of cultural immersion, personal growth and professional development with an international group of professionals, made the experience truly amazing and unforgettable.

I came back from Marrakech with a renewed sense of energy, inspiration, and connection with amazing souls. And that’s the most rewarding aspect of this experience—the connections we made with each other. Living and working together for two weeks allowed us to form deep bonds and friendships, despite our different backgrounds and cultures. We were able to learn from each other, share our perspectives, and gain a better understanding of the world around us.

In the end, our two weeks in Marrakech were an unforgettable experience. It was a unique blend of work, culture, and personal growth that we could never have achieved on our own. We left with new friends, new skills, and a new appreciation for the world around us. And we know that this experience will stay with us for a lifetime.
