Freedom
Freedom is at the core of how I live and travel. It’s about making my own rules. I like creating my own choices, whether it’s picking my next destination, working from a beachside café, or taking a spontaneous detour. For me, every moment of travel is an expression of independence.
Community
I travel for connection. Community is what turns my journeys into something truly meaningful. From joining remote work hubs to sharing stories with locals, I really appreciate the bonds I build along the way. These connections create a sense of belonging, no matter where I am in the world.

Hi! I’m Alexander, a world traveler and digital nomad from Germany. Traveling to nearly 100 countries has taught me more about life than any classroom or career ever could. I’m a firm believer in staying positive and embracing the unexpected, which makes every journey even more rewarding. For me, the world is full of possibilities, and I’m always ready to explore what’s next.
It all began many years ago, with my first big step into the unknown.
I had never left Europe before, but a semester abroad in Canada during my bachelor’s degree changed everything. That trip planted a seed: a deep longing for freedom, independence, and a curiosity about the world that would shape me forever.

Over the years, my passion for travel grew. A year in Swansea, Wales, for my master’s degree opened my eyes to new perspectives, and my first trip to Brazil introduced me to the vibrant energy of South America. The next year, I experienced the chaotic beauty of Vietnam, and from there, I couldn’t stop exploring. Weekend getaways, annual vacations, and adventures to places like Panama or Madagascar became a regular part of my life.
In 2017, I took the leap I’d been dreaming of. I left my job, bought a one-way ticket to Buenos Aires, and set out on a year-long journey around the world. What began as a sabbatical turned into a new way of life. Since 2019, I’ve been living as a digital nomad, combining my professional work with my love for exploring the world. With almost 100 countries under my belt, I can now say: my home is where my bag is.
